Mobile Loaves & Fishes (MLF) Summer Camp is a social outreach program inspired by the Gospel of Matthew. The Camp is designed to teach our children in the 1st-8th grades about poverty in our communities and encourage them to reach out and serve those in need. For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in. - Matthew 25:35
Our summer camp provides a fun and comfortable setting for children to participate in various aspects of the Mobile Loaves & Fishes Program; such as making meals to feed area families, organizing food pantry supplies, and creating survival kits to pass out to the homeless. We educate the children on serving one another through daily social justice lessons, and provide tons of fun games and crafts throughout the week.
Our camp week is Monday through Friday from 9AM-12:30PM, and is located at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church. The program is targeted to children from 1st grade through Middle School.
